Acceptable Use Policy
Updated: 2026-07-01
This policy (the "AUP") supplements the Terms of Service and is binding on every user of SveaSMS, operated by Global Trade Rhino LLC. The Customer is the sole sender in the legal sense and bears full responsibility for content and legal basis. SveaSMS is only a technical intermediary.
1. Strictly prohibited use
The following, without exhaustive enumeration, is strictly prohibited and triggers immediate and permanent suspension plus forfeiture of all balance:
- Impersonation of banks, insurers, postal services, e-commerce or any other trusted sender.
- Phishing, smishing, fraud, vishing-adjacent activity, fake BankID, fake delivery, fake prize, romance or "pig butchering" scams.
- Threats, extortion, harassment, stalking, revenge porn or harassment of minors.
- Content constituting terrorism, terrorist financing, violent extremism, hate speech or incitement.
- Distribution of CSAM or any material exploiting minors is prohibited.
- Promotion of regulated services in breach of local law (gambling, tobacco, alcohol, prescription medicine, weapons, crypto CFDs, binary options).
- Sending in breach of sanctions (OFAC, EU, UN) or to recipients in sanctioned territories.
- Sending without valid legal basis (consent, contract, legitimate interest) under GDPR or the equivalent local law.
- Sending to numbers on Do-Not-Call registries in the recipient's country without consent.
- Bypassing operator or platform filtering, hiding sender identity, using unicode tricks, homoglyphs or "SMS bombing".
- Circumventing our technical limits, rate limits, country restrictions, credit limits or anti-fraud systems.
- Automated scraping of the platform or reverse engineering of the API beyond documented use.
2. Consent and opt-out requirements
The Customer is responsible for obtaining and being able to demonstrate valid consent, or another legal basis, for every send. Every marketing message must include a clear sender identity and easy opt-out (e.g. "STOP to XXX"). The Customer must immediately and permanently unsubscribe recipients on request.
3. Sender ID and alphanumeric names
The Customer may not choose a sender ID that (i) includes a third-party protected trademark, (ii) implies affiliation with a financial institution, (iii) consists of misleading generic names ("INFO", "MESSAGE", "NOTICE") combined with fraud-like content. See separate Sender ID Rules.
4. Abuse reporting
Abuse reports can be sent to support@sveasms.com. Reports are handled with high priority. Customer data is treated as confidential and is not shared with other companies or outside parties.
5. Consequences
Breach of this AUP results in (i) immediate and permanent suspension, (ii) forfeiture of all remaining balance under the Refund Policy, and (iii) our right to claim reimbursement for investigation, legal and regulatory costs.
6. Company assessment is final
The Company's assessment of whether an activity constitutes a breach of the AUP is final and not subject to internal appeal. The Customer waives challenging that assessment other than in the forum specified in the Terms of Service (binding arbitration in Wyoming).
